Finally reaching that goal in December 2017 by working at Thera-Vet Acres. Denise has worked in General Practice, Animal Emergency Service and shelter medicine. Denise shares a home in Gates, NY with two teenage boys (Justin and Logan), her fiancé, Robert, two dogs (Max & Millie), two cats (Toothless & Ninja) and a yellow-bellied slider turtle (Mr. Turd). When not working or traveling to her oldest son’s soccer games, her “therapy” includes smooth water kayaking, bike riding on the canal, hiking in the woods, walking and playing with the dogs and reading a good mystery suspense novel.
